In rugby Fatima A played Fatima B in the final of the u14 league at the Queens Park Savannah this afternoon.
The match was closer than the scoreline suggested, with the A team emerging as winners 43 - 5. Jael Jessop, Andrew Mohammed and Lucas Simon-Thompson each scored two tries while captain Ethan Young scored one. Evan Achim had his kicking boots on as he was successful with four of the conversions.
The last score of the match however, went to Josiah Reyes who scored for the B Team with a well-earned try as they threatened throughout the match.
In the third place play-off, the C Team went under to SEPOS 20 - 5. This team showed tremendous heart throughout the match and were justly rewarded by Gabriel Douglas outpacing the defence to score in the corner.
This is the second year in a row that Fatima has swept all divisions in the rugby as they also won the u16 and u19 divisions this year. Last year they won the u14 and the u18 divisions!
Strive on Fatima Boys, strive on!
