Our Fatima Basketball team was also very successful in the last year and has attained several achievements. The Under 17 team played in tournament placing 3rd (one point under Mucurapo College) after winning 2 Games and losing 2. Our Under 15 also placed 3rd in the Secondary Schools Basketball Association’s tournament.

Practice is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm. Equipment required are long white socks, ¾ pants and a white or coloured jersey.For information on joining the team you can speak to the captain, Andel Husbands or the vice captain, Ahmed Gill.

Basketball has always been a sport that seems to be out of the spotlight except for when we occasionally win a game. Hopefully with the next generation of basketballers we can bring the sport into the spotlight
