The Fatima College Aviation Club led by Nicholas Henry was founded in 2021 as a community for aviation enthusiasts to come together to share and express their knowledge in aviation through the theory and practicals of flying.

We have now partnered with Savannah Aero Concepts TT to form the first build-and-fly program within the school. This is an intensive model-building and flying initiative to introduce youth to aircraft construction and the fundamentals of flight. FCAC and SACTT both strive for youth engagement, nurturing interests in aviation by engaging in hands-on building and flying, and gaining long-term goals for students wanting to become a pilot/engineer.

The program consists of multiple sessions of remote-control model and control-line building activities, flight training opportunities with the training aircraft at Fatima Grounds and Frederick Settlement Caroni, simulator training for models, aviation related field trips followed by mentoring from aviation professionals both current and retired.
